Is part of a 330 acre block of prime Waipara land. In 1998, 4.5 hectares of Pinot Gris and 4.5 hectares of Pinot Noir were planted and in 2002 winemaker Scott Berry crafted the first commercial vintage. Since then Merlot and Pinot Blanc have also been planted.
This boutique vineyard is situated in the limestone gravels of the Weka Stream in Waipara and is well protected by the Mount Cass mountain range from cool winds and late frosts.
