The Waipara West partnership purchased our property in 1989. We have sixteen years experience of growing grapes for wine production, and we have been making wine for twelve vintages in our own purpose built winery on site.
We grow and make wines for an international market, creating food wines for the restaurant tables of the world. We export into fifteen countries including the U.K., U.S.A., Canada, Norway, Denmark, France, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Our wines have received many awards and medals finding particular favour with U.K. wine writers, and many Top Ten placings with New Zealand Cuisine magazine tastings.
Previously we have struggled to meet export demand, now due to the substantial 2004 vintage and increased plantings to satisfy demand, we find ourselves in the fortunate position of being able to offer our full range of wines with some reasonable vintage age and variety.
Many of our customers have had great success with our wines as they generate loyal fans with on-going repeat custom.
As well as our Waipara West gourmet restaurant wines, we can also offer Two Terrace Red (a cabernet blend) and Two Terrace Chardonnay (an unoaked chardonnay).
We can offer one-day delivery to restaurants within the Christchurch area.
