Mountford Estate is a boutique vineyard and winery set on a hillside in a stunning park-like environment in
the Waipara region, of North Canterbury New Zealand. The 18 year old vineyard grows on an area of land dubbed ‘The Golden Mile’.
Owners, Kathryn Ryan and Kees Zeestraten and Blind Winemaker C.P. Lin have a strong commitment to the exciting future of Mountford and great passion to the wines which they create. Established in 1991, the majority of the vineyard was planted out with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines.
2008 saw a further four hectares of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling vines planted, increasing the vineyard to 10 hectares.

Small corporate events, winemakers’ dinners & weddings can also be hosted on the vineyard.
Wine tastings are by appointment also.
